STORM UPDATE

We recieved a record amount of snow, between 36 and 40+ inches.  This snow and gusty winds have resulted in severe drifts.  Over 7 ft tall in several places.  It took 4 hours with a grader and plow truck to clear about one mile of roads near the cell tower!  The town office is open Tuesday and the dump will be open on Wednesday.  Roads are being cleared.  Most roads in the southern part of the town are open and crews are working on the center part of town right now.  The northern roads (and remaining central roads) will be worked on tomorrow.  We will be asking neighboring towns to assist us with snow removal tomorrow.  Please be patient with us.  Crews have been working with very little rest and we are doing our best to beat this record storm.
